The four Waterwatch programs that
operate across the region managed by the Adelaide and Mount Lofty
Ranges Natural Resources Management Board (AMLRNRMB) have joined
forces to form Waterwatch Adelaide.
Waterwatch Adelaide works in four
sub-regions that were previously funded and independently managed
under the former metropolitan catchment water management boards.
As a result there have been some
name changes. Onkaparinga Waterwatch Network has become Waterwatch
Southern Adelaide and KESAB Patawalonga and Torrens Waterwatch
is now Waterwatch Central Adelaide, along with Waterwatch Northern
Adelaide and Barossa and Waterwatch Southern Fleurieu.
The Coordinators and Education
Officers are working closely to provide consistent services, a
common newsletter and web site. Supporting education for sustainability
is a high priority in 2007 for Waterwatch Adelaide.
